Dr. Gary Matloff, licensed psychologist & author

Dr. Matloff is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist, who specializes in treating children and teens through college for a variety of behavioral, social, and emotional concerns. Dr. Matloff's well-rounded education and training equips him with the ability to understand and treat problems from a multitude of perspectives. He has been providing clinical and psychoeducational services for the past twenty years in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, day treatment, residential, and public schools, and private practice.

Dr. Matloff is first and foremost a father; he adopted his two sons from Brazil when they were eight and eleven years old, as he narrates in his book, See You Tomorrow...Reclaiming the Beacon of Hope. Dr. Matloff understands first-hand the joys and challenges involved in raising children today, enriching his ability to relate with parents at their level.
